We are so glad you found us. Friends of Internationals is a nonprofit Christian organization that exists to help international students living in the Mobile area. We invite you to participate in the various activities we offer which are designed to help you build friendships with others. Our goal is to make every person feel welcome here in Mobile regardless of age, race or religion.


UPCOMING EVENTS

Please join us in volunteering for the Gumbo Chili Cook off on Saturday, March 6th. This event is to raise funds for cancer research and takes place at the USA track. Volunteers can come as early as 6 AM to setup ( breakfast provided!) and the event lasts until 4 pm. Please e-mail Mary Mather if you can help and indicate the time you are available <maryvmather@yahoo.com>. Thank you!!

Below are the different ways we can help. We will do our best to put you where you would like to help:
  • Set up: Volunteers will be needed to help on the day before and the morning of the event to put up signs, set up tables/ chairs, load/unload supplies, etc
  • Clean up: Volunteers will be needed to work during and after the event keeping the site tidy.
  • Kiddy Fun: During the event, we need people to paint faces and supervise the fun activities
  • Ticket Sales: During the event, volunteers are needed to collect tickets, hand out goodies, and provide entry information
  • Concession/ Merchandise Sales: During the event, volunteers will be selling drinks, t-shirts, aprons

Discovery Community - meets each Tuesday at 7 pm at 5659 William and Mary St.: small group discussions about the issues of life! Discovery Community is dedicated to allow people from various faith backgrounds(or none) to explore, ask hard questions and seek truth together.While the Discovery Community is committed to a Christian world view, we invite others of any background to come and explore with us.
